Easter Birds' Nest

Easter Birds' Nest, these are an occasional treat and fun to make with the children.

Ingredients

Low fibre - 2 grams of fibre per serve

230 grams milk chocolate baking chips
3 packets Chang's fried noodles
1 packet small plain or speckled chocolate eggs

Easter Birds' Nest Directions

Line a baking tray with non-stick baking paper.

Add the chocolate to a Pyrex/ heat proof container and place in a larger saucepan.

Pour water into the saucepan to come up to 1/3 of the outer side of the Pyrex container.

Add the chocolate chips to the heat proof bowl and put on the stove on a low heat and keep stirring until the chocolate chips are melted.

Mix the noodles with the bran sticks and the melted chocolate gently to coat the sticks.

Use a dessert spoon to scoop and drop the mixture onto the baking tray to make cookies.

Press them down a little and add 2–3 small eggs in the middle.

Place them in the fridge for 15 minutes to solidify and then add them to an airtight container ready for serving.
