Peanut Butter Baked Oats

Warming and hearty with bowel healthy oats, this dish can be made with gluten free oats and vegan friendly milks if required.

Ingredients

Low-fibre - 2 grams fibre per serve

1/3 cup minute oats (or Gluten free oats)
1/2 small banana
1 baking powder
1 free range egg
1 tablespoon pure maple syrup (to taste)
10 drops of Vanilla extract
1/2 cup milk of choice (may need to add more if the mixture looks dry)
1/2 tablespoon smooth peanut butter

High-fibre - 5 grams fibre per serve

1/3 cup rolled oats (or Gluten free oats)
1 teaspoon oat bran
1/2 small banana
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 free range egg
1 tablespoon pure maple syrup (to taste)
10 drops of Vanilla extract
1/2 cup milk of choice (may need to add more if the mixture looks dry)
1/2 tablespoon crunchy peanut butter

Peanut Butter Baked Oats Directions

Mix all the ingredients together (except the peanut butter) into a small baking dish.

Bake the dish for about 25-30 minutes on a low heat 180C.

Dip a tablespoon in hot water and wipe clean.

Then spoon out one tablespoon of peanut butter let the peanut butter warm for 30 seconds then drizzle it over the top of the baked oats.
