Warmest thanks to Evan and Levi, who have been supporting Bowel Cancer Australia through their Go Bum card game since 2023.

“My reason is my Dad. At 50, he was diagnosed with bowel cancer, but fortunately it was caught and treated early. At the time I was a teenager and knew it was scary and serious but trusted that everything would turn out ok. Now, with my own kids and more perspective, I realise how close a call it was.

During COVID lockdown homeschooling, my son Levi and I made a card game called Go Bum – the cheeky version of Go Fish – because we love playing games and, you know, butts are pretty funny.

We made Go Bum shortly after the devastating 2019/20 bushfires and have been raising funds ever since. It’s been a great joy that Dad has been here to see Go Bum grow from its humble beginnings and help us along the way.

So, each June we want to raise funds to support bowel cancer research and build awareness that it can affect people of all ages.

In 2024, we raised $200 for Bowel Cancer Australia, which is a small but positive impact in the world, which we aim to grow in the coming years.” ~ Evan.

Thanks again, Evan and Levi. Your support is greatly appreciated and will have a direct impact, helping us to champion what matters most to people impacted by bowel cancer and empower everyone affected to live their best life.
