“At Hunters Hill Medical Practice, we celebrate Red Apple Day in June each year.

Bowel cancer is one of the most common cancers in Australia, yet early detection can significantly improve outcomes. We are passionate about supporting Bowel Cancer Australia because we believe education, awareness and open conversations can help save lives.

As a medical practice, we see first-hand the importance of early detection, prevention and encouraging patients to take their health seriously.

Red Apple Day gives us an opportunity to bring our patients, staff and community together to raise awareness of bowel cancer and the importance of screening. It allows us to encourage people not to ignore the symptoms, to understand their risks and, most importantly, to take part in regular bowel cancer screening when appropriate.

By supporting Red Apple Day and Bowel Cancer Australia, Hunters Hill Medical Practice hopes to play a small but meaningful role in raising awareness and potentially helping to save lives.
