Ingredients

  • 4 pink lady apples (skin on, cored and cut in half or quarters)
  • 2 tbsp butter (melted to liquid)
  • 4 tbsp walnuts, chopped
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Sprinkle of cinnamon (optional)
  • Greek yoghurt to serve

Method

Heat the oven to 200C.

In a bowl, stir the vanilla extract into the melted butter.

Place the apples in a baking dish, add the butter mix and thoroughly mix them to cover in the butter mix.

Sprinkle with cinnamon.

Bake for 10-15 minutes until soft.

Remove from the oven, place apples in dish. Serve with large spoonful of Greek yoghurt and sprinkle with walnuts for added crunch.
