High fibre

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups whole rolled oats
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • ¼ cup desiccated coconut
  • ½ cup unflavoured, unsweetened whey protein isolate powder or plant based preferable hemp protein
  • ½ cup tahini
  • 2 tablespoon date paste
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup milk of your choice
  • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds to coat after rolling

Method

Combine the dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl.

Warm the tahini and date paste in microwave until soft paste

Mix well through the dry ingredients.

Add milk and adjust quantity to desired consistency.

Roll into small 4 cm diameter balls.

Roll in sesame seeds.

Refrigerate until needed.

Suitable for freezing
