The Wharf Restaurant has always held a special place in our heart. We had our wedding reception there and would celebrate all important family occasions there, such as birthdays and anniversaries. Each year the Faulty Towers theatre show comes to the restaurant and this year our friends at the restaurant wanted to dedicate one of the evenings to the memory of Brendon with money raised going to Bowel Cancer Australia. The support was overwhelming with many local businesses donating to the silent auction and with a portion of each ticket sale also being donated to Bowel Cancer Australia, we were able to raise $3100! We are so grateful to live in such a wonderful community who are so generous. This has allowed us to continue raising money for Bowel Cancer Australia to assist in earlier detection, raised awareness particularly for those under 45 and better outcomes for those battling this horrible disease.” ~ Megan If you were inspired by Megan’s story and would like to raise much needed awareness and funds in memory of a loved one, please get in touch with us through our webform.
