“Bowel cancer is something so close to my heart and has had a massive impact on my family. My dad was diagnosed with bowel cancer in 2018, had the cancer removed and then endured the months of colostomy bags following. He overcame the cancer and we are so thankful it was detected early enough. Earlier this year however we lost my grandad from cancer which started as bowel cancer and it wasn’t until it was spread through his body that it was detected. If it was diagnosed early enough, he could still be here.

I’m a huge advocate for Bowel Cancer Australia and I want to help as much as I can to help others get the diagnosis, treatment and recover from bowel cancer as I believe it is one that can be detected early enough and have more survivors than statistics.” ~ Kaylee
