Jordan organised a fundraiser in memory of her beloved big brother, Nick. She set up an online fundraising page and did a collection at her workplace, including a raffle for a Lego voucher. Her brother Nick was a huge fan of Lego!

This are Jordan’s words: “Sorry, I’ve been MIA. It was very busy time for me!?

Fundraising is going so well online, and I increased my target from $700 to $1000, and at my workplace, I have a jar full of notes and coins that will be deposited at the end of the month!

I did a raffle for a $200 Lego voucher. Attached is a photo of my display at my workplace.

My brother Nick passed away from Stage 4 bowel cancer in 2018 at the age of 31. He absolutely loved Lego!!!

Each year, I try to raise funds and awareness because I would really love to make a difference and support other families who are experiencing the impact of bowel cancer. I hope that one day we live in a world where the testing age is lowered, and bowel cancer is easily treatable.” ~ Jordan.

Thank you so much, Jordan, for your stirring story! And thank you for supporting Bowel Cancer Australia! We are very grateful for your fundraising efforts, despite what you have been through.

Your awareness and fundraising efforts are greatly appreciated and will have a direct impact, helping to save lives and improve the health and wellbeing of people living with bowel cancer.
