“I am passionate about supporting Bowel Cancer Australia for several reasons, the foremost being the loss of my paternal grandfather to the disease. I sadly never met him, as he died when my dad was just a teenager – with bowel cancer robbing him of a father.

In addition to my family history, I am very aware of the increasing rates of bowel cancer among young people. This is so concerning, and motivates me to not only raise funds, but also try to increase awareness through my Dry July campaign.” ~ Ellie
