Chris C – Bowel Cancer Awareness Month

“On Saturday 31 May, Chris Crewther MP trekked the length of the Mornington electorate coastline to raise funds and awareness for Bowel Cancer Australia.

“The trek ended up being 27.6km, a bit more than the estimated 21km, so I could barely walk that evening and the next day.

But it was well worth it, raising over $3000 for Bowel Cancer Australia and with many people joining me on the trek – including walking, hiking, climbing, wading and swimming – to raise awareness.

Thank you to all involved, including my chief of staff and Bowel Cancer Australia ambassador Donna Hope – Community, local Jess who shared her and Dean’s story, and everyone who’s donated, trekked with me, joined our community stop (including local Sarah, her partner and Dean’s family), and more.” ~ Chris.
