“I had the honour of running in the Nike Melbourne Marathon in support of my dad – affectionately known as ‘Shorty’ – who is currently undergoing chemotherapy for Stage 4 bowel cancer. To turn this deeply personal journey into a meaningful cause, I launched ‘A Short Marathon’ – a fundraising initiative named in his honour, to raise awareness and support for Bowel Cancer Australia.” ~ Joel
