On Wednesday, August 5th, students and staff from Westminster School came together to raise much needed awareness and funds for cancer.

”As part of our annual Cut 4 Cancer event, our brave Year 12 and Year 6 students along with dedicated teachers and staff cut their hair to raise awareness and vital funds for cancer research, support, and education. This year, we are proudly fundraising for eight incredible organisations making a difference every day, including Bowel Cancer Australia. Cancer has touched the lives of so many in our school and wider community. Through this powerful event, we aim to support those affected and raise funds that will directly contribute to lifesaving research, patient support services, and educational initiatives.”

“We raised funds and awareness for Bowel Cancer Australia to support those affected in our school and the wider community. We hope that with the story behind our Cut 4 Cancer event will influence other to take similar action.” ~ Janet.

Students participate in a hair cutting event, supporting cancer awareness, with some getting their heads shaved.
