Martin P’s story Lived experience All Decembeard Dry July Early-Onset Early-Onset Loved One In Memory Kick Ass Late-Onset Lived experience Loved One I was diagnosed with Stage 2 bowel cancer in May 2023 and had a Hemicolectomy (Right)in June 2023, which was completed robotically with adhesiolysis. Post Surgery I have had regular monitoring with my specialist including blood tests, colonoscopies on 13 June 2024 and 29 January 2025, and CT Scans on 28 May 2025 and27 May 2026. Having the benefit of early detection at the age of 71 provided the opportunity for early treatment through surgery. My one piece of advice: I am fortunate to have a great surgeon and ongoing medical support. The tumour markers are where they should be, so I have not needed additional treatment like chemotherapy.
