David M’s story Decembeard Late-Onset Lived experience All Decembeard Dry July Early-Onset Early-Onset Loved One In Memory Kick Ass Late-Onset Lived experience Loved One I was diagnosed with bowel cancer on the 31st of August 2021. Chemotherapy and radiation followed, as well as a bowel cancer operation on the 2nd of February 2022. The doctor put all of my plumbing back together on the 31st of November 2022, but another cancer attack led to a liver operation on the 25th of October 2023. I tell everyone that, like the Elton John song, ‘I’m Still Standing’ from this ducking cancer and I’m always thinking positively about my cancer. I have my body scan every three months and blood tests as well. I’m seeing my cancer doctor at the end of November to find out how my cancer is doing.
