Anastasia in memory of sister Sairz Early-Onset Loved One All Decembeard Dry July Early-Onset Early-Onset Loved One Kick Ass Late-Onset I got the call on the 22nd of March 2022. I got the call that my sister, Sairz had been having stomach issues and going in and out of hospital and doctor’s visits. I was told it was gall bladder among other things. I was rung on my way home and told it was Stage 4 bowel cancer. We thought they could fight it. Sairz remained positive all the way through. They were 39. They got married to their long-term partner on the 31st of May and sadly on the 5th of June they lost their battle just 20 days before their 40th birthday. Sairz is missed endlessly and always loved. We were always proactive about our health and early detection. Encouragement for testing could have been given more time. Our one piece of advice: Please always listen to your body, pay attention to any changes and encourage your loved ones to get tested, lower the testing age, I know that’s more than one piece of advice but I would do anything to have my sister, best friend back with me.
