Amy G – Time is Precious Early-Onset All Be Bold Bowel Cancer Awareness Month Community Company Decembeard Dry July Early-Onset In Memory Loved One Never 2 Young World Cancer Day We are two North Shore girls on a journey to raise funds and awareness for Bowel Cancer. Our inspiration and motivation behind starting this is an incredible man Rob Bosch. He is Sara’s late stepfather who sadly lost his battle early 2019 at the young age of 50. Amy and Sara hosted an inaugural ball at Dockside in Darling Harbour on the 22nd of February to celebrate that ‘Time is Precious’. The ball included a black-tie diner with a live and silent auction alongside heart felt speeches and messages. The ball was a huge success and through the generosity of our 285 guests we raised over $42,000 for Bowel Cancer Australia. “Sara and I are so overwhelmed with all the generosity we have received from everyone. The success of the night was more than we could ever imagine, and we can’t wait to do it again next year; bigger and better!” Said Amy. “I am so passionate about this topic and look forward to our continuous journey to find a cure,” Sara added. With the closure of Amy and Sara’s 2020 efforts, they both look forward to starting the process for 2021 in an attempt to make everything bigger and better next year. If you were inspired by Amy’s awareness and fundraising efforts and would like to support Bowel Cancer Australia through your own community fundraiser, please get in touch with us through our webform.
