This wasn’t about American technology in a land far far away, it was about Aussie apples and their season launch was much closer to home – in Sydney’s Royal Botanical Gardens.
You can check out their new TVC at Aussie Apples YouTube Channel and for something a bit different, you’ll only see it in Aussie programs.
“We’re asking Aussies to support us, so we’re doing the same,” said Luke Westley, Marketing Manager, Aussie Apples. And we’re reminding Aussies to get two serves of fruit each day.
Aussie Apples has nominated Bowel Cancer Australia (BCA) as their charity of choice.
The brand is a good fit for BCA given the role of a healthy diet in cancer prevention and also because of BCA’s longstanding use of the red apple logo.
Aussie Apples represents 1,000 commercial apple growers around the country and is involved in a broad range of activities to support their members and advance the industry, which includes marketing and promotion of their produce in Australia and overseas.
Expect to see more apple themed activities during 2012 as the relationship between Aussie Apples and BCA starts to bear fruit!
Julien Wiggins, chief executive of Bowel Cancer Australia, said Aussie Apples interest and support was another vehicle for improving bowel cancer awareness and raising funds.
“It’s great to welcome Aussie Apples to our community of supporters and we look forward to working together on creative campaigns in 2012.”
