If you’ve ever thought about raising funds and awareness for bowel cancer, then Bowel Cancer Awareness Month is the perfect time to do it.

Bowel Cancer Awareness Month is an annual public education initiative of Bowel Cancer Australia centred in June.

The Month aims to raise public awareness of a disease that claims the lives of 80 Australians every week, Australia’s second biggest cancer killer.

It also has a positive message – saving lives through early detection – as bowel cancer is one of the most curable types of cancer if found early.

Join the Bowel Movement - become a Bowel Cancer Awareness Month Champion

Help us spread the important bowel cancer awareness message to those you love, and in your local community - while also supporting Bowel Cancer Australia’s vital awareness, education, support and research programs – with your very own Bowel Cancer Awareness Month fundraiser.

Dinners and cocktail parties, funs runs and cycles, morning teas and casual clothes days at work, golf tournaments and dance classes; trivia and bingo. . . think of the things you and your friends/family enjoy doing most, and turn them into a Bowel Cancer Awareness Month fundraising event.

Bowel Cancer Awareness Month is scheduled for 1-30 June each year, so now is a great time to start your fundraising preparations and to Join the Bowel Movement!
