I was 29 years old when I was diagnosed with stage III bowel cancer.

A happily married mum of two young children, I was enjoying a carefree life.

I’d been experiencing a range of odd symptoms for the past twelve months and decided to see my doctor after not being able to kick a simple cold virus.

I was 34 when I was diagnosed with Stage IV bowel cancer.

As I had been travelling I was prescribed antibiotics to rule out an infection, but after a week I still had symptoms.

His symptoms of bleeding and incomplete bowel evacuation only happened prior to his diagnosis.

Our GP thought it was most likely haemorrhoids but referred him to a colorectal surgeon.
