Colorectal & General Surgeon

Dr Bradley Morris BSc MBBS (Hons) FRACS
  
Dr Bradley Morris is a Colorectal and General Surgeon in Brisbane, and the founder of QLD Colorectal. He practices advanced laparoscopic, robotic and minimally invasive surgery, as well as being a GESA accredited endoscopist and colonoscopist.

Dr Morris underwent General Surgery training in QLD, Australia to be awarded his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS).
 
After obtaining his fellowship, Dr Morris completed a further two years of Colorectal Surgery training with accredited fellowships, at the Austin Hospital in Melbourne, and the Cambridge University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in England. This training is through the Training Board in Colon and Rectal Surgery, and led to accreditation as a Colorectal Surgeon with the Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand (CSSANZ).

Dr Morris was a Senior Surgeon in the Colorectal Surgery Department at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, and now focuses on a private practice with special interest in proctology – conditions effecting the rectum and anus.

Dr Morris is passionate about educating using simple language and humour, and is the face behind @the.butt.doctor on social media channels. He is a keen advocate for raising bowel cancer awareness, the merits of bowel cancer screening on colonsocopy, and has published on the increasing incidence of bowel cancer in younger adults.
