Love Chooo – Chewy cacao brownies (Low Fibre)

4 hearts, approximately 1- 1.5 grams of fibre per serve

  • 2 free range eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 50 grams cacao powder
  • 125 grams of Orgran ® gluten free flour
  • 120 grams of dark cooking chocolate
  • 120 grams of dark chocolate chips
  • 175 grams of dark brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • 125ml coconut oil
  • Large heart cookie cutter
  • Shredded coconut for decoration
  • Halved strawberries for decoration
  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees
  2. Grease and line with greaseproof paper a 23 X 23cms baking tray
  3. Mix flour, cacao powder, salt and baking powder into a large bowl until thoroughly combined
  4. Mix melted coconut oil and chocolate together gently in a double pan and put aside
  5. Whisk eggs and brown sugar together and add the melted coconut oil and chocolate
  6. Pour this into the flour mix
  7. Stir in chocolate chips
  8. Pour the mixture into the baking tray
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the brownie is firm in the middle
  10. Take out and let cool for 10-15 minutes and cut the heart shapes dust with shredded coconut
  11. Arrange on a plate with chopped strawberries
  12. The remaining cooked brownie mix can be rolled into balls and dusted with shredded coconut for later!
