Yoco Dessert & Yopops - Low Fibre

 Yoco Dessert - Fun fact: Greek yoghurt (not Greek style yoghurt) is fermented to become thick and has millions of live bacteria to help nourish the digestive system.  Greek style yoghurt has thickeners and additives which may cause stomach bloating in some people.

Low fibre (makes 8 serves) 2-3 grams of fibre per serve *Vegetarian (click here to view the high fibre / high residue recipe alternative)


700 grams of Greek yoghurt

1 teaspoon of vanilla essence

200 ml of low-fat buttermilk

1-2 tablespoons of pure honey


2 tablespoons of cornflakes

Chopped or grated dark chocolate


Whisk yoghurt, honey, buttermilk and vanilla essence together

Place in a freezer safe container and freeze for 3-4 hours

To serve

If the dessert is too hard to serve leave out for 5-10 minutes to soften and scoop into dishes

Top with shaved chocolate and crunchy cornflakes

600 grams of Greek yoghurt

1/4 cup of raw sugar

1 teaspoon of coconut essence

Six paper cups

Six wooden ice block sticks

10 vanilla butter biscuits


Mix yoghurt and raw sugar together with coconut essence

Divide the yoghurt evenly into six paper cups

Freeze the yoghurt for one hour

Add the sticks into the middle of each cup

Freeze for another 1-2 hours

Blend the biscuits until they are a fine crumble

Peel the paper cups off the pops

Roll them in biscuit mix and serve
