Never assume you’re alone.
Bowel Cancer Australia is different. We provide essential support services uniquely designed for younger bowel cancer patients and their families.
In celebration of Never Too Young Awareness Week, we’ve launched a suite of new resources dedicated to young-onset bowel cancer, to help raise much-needed awareness and better support young people diagnosed with the disease.
Our new ‘Young people with bowel cancer - A guide for the under 50s’ gives an introduction to how bowel cancer can affect your body, emotions, relationships and daily life.
Included in the new booklet is a series of helpful and empowering stories from young people living with or beyond bowel cancer.
Never assume everyone knows about bowel cancer.
It is a common misconception that bowel cancer is 'an old person's disease', but the reality is that you should never be told that you are too young to have bowel cancer.
All of the resources are available for download through our website here.
Please Note: the 'Young people with bowel cancer - A guide for the under 50s' booklet is currently only available for download, but will be available to order in hard copy soon.
