A person can read all the guide books there are, but there’s nothing quite like a visit to bring a place to life.

That’s not just the case for places like Uluru and the Great Barrier Reef; it’s also true for Bowel Cancer Australia’s incredible Big Bowel.

Spanning 7m long and 2.6m high, our inflatable Big Bowel will be dropping by Parliament House in Canberra and touring various locations in New South Wales and Victoria.

Locals and tourists will have the opportunity to step inside the walk-through exhibit and get an up-close view of giant polyps, early stage and advanced bowel cancer, colitis and Crohn’s Disease.

Everything is viewed on larger than life scale taking in three-dimensional interior features.

A popular way for all ages to learn about bowel cancer and prevention, recent research indicates knowledge about every aspect of bowel health improves significantly following the interactive experience.

Providing important health information and encouraging bowel cancer prevention and screening, a tour of the Big Bowel benefits all visitors, showing them in a memorable way that bowel cancer is treatable and beatable when detected early.

The Big Bowel will be touring the country on a regular basis and will appear at community centres, shopping malls, health expos, outdoor events and any place that can accommodate such an imposing presence.

Keep an eye on our website and social media channels for further updates on the Big Bowel tour, as more locations and dates are announced.
