Overnight Apple Bircher (264 )
Australian red apples are rich in flavonoids and pectin which are excellent for gut health. Apples also help to balance blood glucose levels and make you feel fuller for longer.
Ingredients
Low-fibre - 3 grams fibre per serve
120 grams uncooked minute oats |
4 tablespoons smooth almond or peanut butter |
2 red Australian apples - grated (Kanzi, Gala, Bravo, Red delicious or Braeburn) |
20 grams cranberry jelly |
300 ml oat milk* |
50 grams greek yoghurt |
1 teaspoon all spice |
High-fibre - 6 grams fibre per serve
120 grams uncooked minute oats |
60 grams roughly chopped walnuts |
2 red Australian apples - grated (Kanzi, Gala, Bravo, Red delicious or Braeburn) |
30 grams dried cranberries |
300 ml oat milk |
50 grams greek yoghurt |
1 teaspoon all spice |
Overnight Apple Bircher Directions
Mix all the ingredients to ensure the ingredients have blended thoroughly.
Put in a glass bowl or container, cover and leave overnight in the fridge.
If you prefer a less dense mixture, add a little apple juice or water.

*It is important that the oat milk is room temperature to help the nut butter mix through the ingredients.
