Ok, so apparently, I am a kick ass woman, who like many many others has her own story to share, so here goes!
Hi, my name’s Tamara and two and a half years ago I was diagnosed with bowel cancer – I was 40.
Well known for his bushy beard, Josh became Decembeard Australia’s #1 fundraiser in 2017. Committing to shave his famous facial hair for Bowel Cancer Australia’s hair-raising annual campaign that uses the power of beards to engage Australians in a conversation about bowel cancer in men.
I was 32yo when I was finally diagnosed with bowel cancer. I say finally as I had been going to the GPs for just over a year with issues.
My bowel motions had changed, and I was finding it extremely difficult to go to the toilet. I would try and go about 10 times a day, but it was excruciating. I loved it when I got diarrhea cause that meant it didn’t hurt to go to the toilet. I would cry every time I went to the toilet, even if I couldn’t go it still hurt.
My story starts back in 2014, when I was 43.
I had experienced stomach pains and low iron levels, so was sent for a colonoscopy.
My name is Linda and I have stage 4 Colorectal Signet Ring Cell adenocarcinoma. My story goes like this....
In March 2015, at age 47, I discovered a huge lump on the right side of my abdomen. I left it for a while as I thought it would go away. After a week I thought I had better go to my GP.
