Former Bulli High School students Erin and Mitchell Burns have cycled 1000 kilometres to raise awareness and funds for a cause close to their hearts. The siblings lost their father Keith Burns, a Bulli High School teacher for two decades, to bowel cancer in 2005. Their campaign, Km's for Keith, saw them set off from Wollongong lighthouse on August 28 and cycle to the Melbourne MCG, which they reached last Thursday.
In the process they raised $13,000 for Bowel Cancer Australia, and they also spread awareness about bowel cancer prevention.
