Bowel cancer awareness has been given a boost with outdoor advertising specialists, Sienna Media, nominating Bowel Cancer Australia as their charity of choice.

The sponsorship will work to raise the profile of bowel cancer through giant video screens at major sporting and cultural events, featuring Bowel Cancer Australia’s television commercials as well as highlighting the charity’s comprehensive website.
Julien Wiggins, Chief Executive Officer, Bowel Cancer Australia welcomed Sienna Media’s offer of support.
“Corporate support such as this gives us much needed access to new avenues and new audiences.  It’s another way we can reach further into the community – being on signage at major events - to get more people talking about bowel cancer,” he said.
Sienna Media Managing Director Philip Cook said the company covered a diverse array of events, particularly in the sporting arena.
“These events are followed by a huge variety of people from many demographic groups. Signage gives Bowel Cancer Australia the opportunity to get their messages to very large audiences at a wide range of community events,” Mr Cook said.
Sienna Media is involved in events such as bringing the TAB Melbourne Cup Live Site to Sydney’s CBD, live coverage of the 2011 Rugby World Cup in capital cities and on-pitch signage for New Zealand’s NRL team - Vodafone Warriors.
