The Bowel Cancer & Digestive Research Institute Australia (Bowel Cancer Australia) is a leading national charity now celebrating 10 years of supporting research and raising awareness of this deadly disease.

Our mission is to reduce the impact of bowel cancer and gastrointestinal disease in our community through awareness, education, support and research.

Our initiatives such as Bowel Cancer Awareness Week, Red Apple Day, the It’s Crunch Time™ and ‘Love My Family’ campaigns, and our Health in the Workplace Program have raised awareness among health professionals and the community of the importance of early detection and intervention in the successful treatment of bowel cancer.

Through our ‘Love My Family’ Community, we provide support, resources and advocacy for bowel cancer patients, their carers, close relatives and friends.

To do all this, we rely on public support.

We are a registered charity endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR).
